Hong Kong is located in the south of China, consists of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, the New Territories, and numerous outlying islands. Its strategic location makes it an important transportation and trade hub in Southeast Asia and the Pacific region.
Climate with warm, humid springs, hot, rainy summers prone to typhoons, sunny and pleasant autumns, and relatively mild, dry winters.


Attractions
Here are some of the famous attractions in Hong Kong:
- Victoria Harbour — It is the largest seaport in Asia and one of the three largest night scenes in the world. The skyscrapers on both sides of the harbour are spectacular, especially at night when the Symphony of Lights show illuminates the sky.
- The Peak — Highest point in Hong Kong and a must-visit landmark. Visitors can take the Peak Tram to reach the top and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Harbour and Kowloon
- Hong Kong Disneyland — It has different themed lands such as Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Adventureland, bringing the magic of Disney to life
- Ocean Park Hong Kong — It is an oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park all in one. Opened in the 1970s, it features a wide range of marine life, exciting rides and shows, including giant pandas, orcas and dolphins
- Avenue of Stars — There are sculptures and handprint plaques of famous stars, making it a great place for selfie and experiencing the charm of Hong Kong’s film culture
- Tian Tan Buddha— Also known as the Big Buddha, it is a huge outdoor bronze statue on Lantau Island. Standing at 34 metres high, it took 12 years to build. Beside it is the Po Lin Monastery, a significant Buddhist institution

- Dim Sum — There are various types, such as shrimp dumplings, which are translucent and filled with fresh shrimps, offering a tender and juicy taste. Another one is the siu mai, usually made with minced pork and shrimp, topped with fish roe, presenting a rich flavor
- Hong Kong-style Milk Tea — This is a signature drink in Hong Kong. It is made by mixing black tea with evaporated milk. The tea is strong and fragrant, while the milk gives it a smooth and creamy texture. It has a rich and mellow taste, often served with snacks
- Egg Tarts — Hong Kong-style egg tarts have a crispy pastry shell and a soft, smooth custard filling. The custard is sweet and fragrant, with a delicate texture
- Curry Fish Balls — These are popular street snacks in Hong Kong. The fish balls are made from fish paste, with a chewy texture. They are cooked in a rich curry sauce, which is spicy and fragrant, making them a must-try snack when strolling on the streets of Hong Kong
- Barbecued Meat — Including barbecued pork, roast duck and so on. Barbecued pork is charred on the outside and tender on the inside, with a sweet and savory glaze. Roast duck has a crispy skin and tender meat, usually served with plum sauce, offering a rich and delicious taste
